We had a steady stream of people who came for supplies and lunch. A surprise truck of wonderful commodities pulled in this morning. The driver had found us after missing his exit on the freeway and decided Port Mercy was the right place for their great gift!
We heard awesome testimonies this morning from our chaplains who have been busy praying with everyone who comes. No one says no to prayer. Some people return everyday because of the special atmosphere and love at this place. Others who have been here before make sure they don’t leave without praying with some of our team. Some ask for prayer to be able to straighten up areas of their lives that are not right.
Thank you Lord for allowing us to be here at this time with your arms to extend in love.
We are battening down the hatches this evening in anticipation of rain as Tropical Storm Beta approaches the Gulf Coast.
