One of our projects here at Friend Ships home base in Lake Charles, Port Mercy, Louisiana is the RiverBoat. These past few months, we completed refitting the Polo Lounge Conference Room and it is ready for meetings and luncheons. This year we hope to complete re-designing the large “casino” area floors and the lovely outdoor top deck for special services where we will hold youth and missions conferences, training seminars, Christian music, and prayer events among many other activities. Here at Port Mercy, there is still a lot of clean-up projects from the aftermath of two major hurricanes.
