A great load of supplies from Feed the Children including Disaster Relief children’s backpacks. We had a steady stream of people coming in for commodities and we fed 300+ hot meals.
The Port Mercy team was able to sort and discard many pallets of goods destroyed by the storm and great work continued on the office roof repairs. The roof also collapsed in a warehouse where our Kenworth semi truck was parked. Timbers, steel and debris crashed in all around it but today we were able to free it up and amazingly, thankfully, it is not damaged and started right up.
We continue to need people to help cook, serve, distribute goods, pray and assist with our restoration projects here at Friend Ships home base.
