Today was a wonderful end to a very productive week.
Christ in Action sent a great team and another group came from Galveston with former crewman George Bounds. We continued to distribute commodities to the community and moved a huge amount of debris out. We organized goods and stored them in proper places.
We received another great load of donated items and continued to rescue goods out of our collapsed warehouse.
We want to look back a few weeks and give a heartfelt thanks to Terry Holt who is a refrigeration expert and our dear friend who came to the rescue immediately after the hurricane, helping us to save our refrigerated goods and activate a refrigerated 20’ trailer and 40’ trailer to store incoming food. Thank you Terry for your amazing help and love. Without you, our ability to help the community would have been severely limited.
